I am part of a group from the Hillside Clinic in Punta Gorda and they were extremely flexible with arranging transportation for us. Staff was very communicative and prompt with responses. Our tour guides were very knowledgeable, took great pictures of us as a group on the hike with their camera.

The hike itself is a challenging but extremely rewarding hike. My group had no difficulty completing the hike but we needed a few breaks along the way!

Overall one of the best excursions I have done in Belize!

(we even left a bag behind in the van after we were dropped off and they were extremely helpful with organizing return of the bag!)

From the moment we reached out to Reuben at Maya Adventure Tour, he was exceptionally helpful and efficient. Our Guide for the Tiger Fern Hike and Waterfall was “Mr Mayan” and we had the added bonus of having a true “twitcher” leading us (a bird expert). From the forest floor to the falls itself, our guide educated us and kept us safe. One advice I would give, this is a Hike for someone fit, as the humidity alone can be tiring, plus the descent to the waterfall involves ropes (plus you have to come back!) . But at the end…..pure joy.
