Cave Tubing & Zip Lining at Jaguar Paw

Jaguar Paw is one of the most popular eco-tourism destinations in Belize, and the zipline here is an experience you won’t want to miss. Whether you’re a thrill-seeker or someone looking to immerse yourself in the beauty of nature, the Jaguar Paw Zipline delivers an experience that blends both. Cave tubing at the Nohoch Che’en Caves Branch Archaeological Reserve is an extraordinary adventure that combines relaxation with breathtaking scenery and fascinating history. The excitement builds as we set off on a leisurely 30-minute hike along a flat jungle trail, surrounded by towering trees, vibrant flora, and the sounds of the rainforest. At the end of our hike, we reach the entrance to one of the many cave passages that make up the extensive Nohoch Che’en cave system. Picture yourself floating down a gentle river that winds through the ancient underworld of Belize, meandering in a prehistoric cave adorned with crystal formations and relics of the Maya civilization. Your knowledgeable guide will share the fascinating geological and cultural history of the area. Formed by the relentless forces of water and time. We hop off our tubes and then take some time to explore a large chamber found inside the cave. After exploring, some visitors like to jump off the short cliff edges and plunge back into the refreshing water. We then board our tube and relax as we are carried back downriver near the parking lot where we started.

Exciting, Educational, Beautiful-So Memorable!

May 10, 2025

Naz was our driver to go ziplining, cave and river tubing at Nohoch Che’en and to drive us to our next resort, Mystic River, in the rainforest. The ziplining was fun! Reuben booked us with a fantastic guide for cave and river tubing and told him to give us the VIP special tour. Anthony took us to special parts of the cave where others weren’t going. He showed us Mayan pots and rock sculptures throughout the cave, explaining the customs and beliefs of the Mayans. He had us jump off rocks into the water and took us through secret passageways. The cave and the hike to it was beautiful, the river was refreshing to swim in and the tubing was fun! It was a memorable experience! Reuben’s brother then drove us to Mystic River. He was friendly and answered many questions about life in Belize.
